Story/Concept
An ordinary girl is searching for something — perhaps a way to navigate city life, a person she can trust, or simply herself. She believes that by persisting in her search, one day she will discover the answer and become the free bird she longs to be.
Behind the Story
This collection is a collaborative project with a local (Hong Kong) garment factory, Splendid by Lok Kwan, a social enterprise dedicated to providing employment opportunities for the underprivileged while promoting environmental sustainability by reducing garment waste.
Hong Kong's landfills are reaching capacity, with an average of 217 tonnes of textiles being discarded daily. In response, we took action. By rescuing fabric destined for landfills from factories and suppliers, we created the Captusal Collection using these materials.
